Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager who can lead the development projects of Medical Devices for treatment of patients with blood vessel diseases all over the world.
Become part of Cook Medical and get a project management role in the Embolization team , where you both manage global projects from A to Z and keep track of documentation and regulatory requirements.
"We are currently working on a large project where we will develop a system for placing a new series of embolization coils, a device that is used to treat aneurysms, or inserted, among other things, where the blood supply to veins must be impeded," explains Benjamin Wædeled, Manager, R&D, Embolization Therapies.
The projects are complex and requires strong stakeholder management skills, good overview as well as a strong project management toolbox , and you will be working closely together with colleagues in Denmark, USA and Ireland .
Responsibilities
Lead projects – with a patient focus
Your responsibility will be to lead projects, that run from 4-7 years, in all development phases until commissioning in production. Your task is to ensure that we comply with agreed deliveries, quality and finances, and that project risks are minimized. At the same time, you use your technical insight to structure information and documentation.

In R&D, you will have many colleagues to work with – from Engineers and Technicians to Coordinators and other Project Managers in Bjæverskov and across other sites. You will therefore have a large network in Cook as well as the opportunity to develop in the position. As our Clinical, Regulatory and Process Development departments as well as Manufacturing are under the same roof, there is a good opportunity for joint problem solving and knowledge sharing. Qualifications
Experienced project manager with lots of energy
You can create and share a meaningful overview while at the same time attend to technical details when necessary and be responsible for documentation in a regulated environment. You know how to motivate a project team and to get everyone on board, and at the same time you thrive in presenting projects and issues to both small and large groups.
