Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager with Testing experience for our client in the financial industry.

 

Location: Greater Copenhagen area, hybrid.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in disaster recovery or business continuity planning
• Experience with Testing work is a plus
• Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and disaster recovery protocols
• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) and disaster recovery are preferred
• Experience working in the financial services sector
• Experience of project management in big program
• Experience with Operational risk/non-financial risk processes, BCCM and IT continuity processes, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into requirements towards workstreams in risk reduction programme
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and manage multiple priorities
• Strong facilitation and communication skills as the role will drive workshops with multiple application SMEs and stakeholders
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away
• Professional level of English - both oral and written

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Lead and coordinate disaster recovery testing projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process
• Develop a comprehensive testing strategy that includes objectives, scope, resources, and timelines with the following outcomes
• BCCM and IT Service & Continuity Management processes and frameworks designed and awareness initiatives in place
• Holistic Testing framework designed to conduct testing of resiliency plans (e.g. failover, backup restoration)
• Collaborate with IT, business units, other workstreams and external consultants in the programme to
• Define and agree a list of technical failure types that cover all Scenarios in BCCMR and 2LOD scope
• Define and agree target technical mitigation capabilities in place, per failure type
• Define and agree target state for how to demonstrate resilience through testing and exercising programme, for each capability
• Identify changes required for e.g., Guidelines, Protocols, controls, processes and resources
• Identify gap between current capabilities against the target state and test strategy
• Design roadmap of test framework uplift in plateaus to meet target state (incl. RRP responsibilities)
• Oversee the execution of the test strategy and framework uplift development, ensuring adherence to the established plans and timelines
• Identify areas for improvement in test and exercise requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to disaster recovery and business continuity
• Project Manager under WS0 leads. Lead a project team including project managers from other streams
• Supporting overall design of resilience testing strategy and framework uplift in 2025, with potential continuation in 202
• Facilitate workshops to support enhancing testing strategy
• Facilitate and drive the high-level/strategic decisions for scoping where required
• Document and prepare decisions for senior stakeholder validation
• Facilitate sign-off processes and ensure evidence is logged
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting findings, recommendations, and necessary follow-up actions
• Bi-weekly reporting to WS0 and BCCM RRP program
• Additionally, potential ad hoc requirement to develop new ideas and requirements into new RRP projects where demand
