Project Manager, electrical installation - Pharma construction project

The project is part of the construction of a large manufacturing facility in Hillerød, Denmark for a global pharmaceutical company. Wicotec Kirkebjerg is responsible for the electrical engineering contract of the project. When the project is at its peak, Wicotec Kirkebjerg will have around 150 people working to produce installations for the electrical engineering and instrumentation contract.

Many different technical disciplines work side by side, which is why there is strict production planning, high safety requirements, and a need for good, constructive collaboration.

Fulfil your professional ambitions in a large, new pharma construction

Reporting to the Project Director, you become a key player in production management, with a total of 4 project managers. Your responsibility is the instrumentation and control package, where you will have enterprise leaders and supervisors in a professional reporting line as well as leadership responsibility for up to approximately 25 electricians. Your responsibility grows as each new phase of the project is being launched.

As electrical project manager, your main tasks will be:

• Plan and execute the installation of instrumentation from start to commissioning based on the overall schedule

• Maintain focus on the construction, e.g. ensure the right technical solutions, progress in execution, and pricing of extra work

• Troubleshooting, technical brainstorming and supporting a good working environment in the team

• Ensuring a timely addition of the right competencies to the team. You are therefore active in recruiting electricians, conducting performance and development dialogues etc.

You will also be contributing with your knowledge at weekly internal project meetings, status and planning meetings as well as status meetings with clients. This is a permanent position and your 'home organization' is the Electrical Engineering Department East. Your daily workplace is on-site in Hillerød with an option for a 4-day working week.

If you can tick the following requirements, we are more than interested in hearing from you:

• You are a certified electrical installer, electrical engineer, electrician, or marine engineer with an electrician background or similar

• You have solid experience working with instrumentation of process plants. It is not important if you have built your experience in pharma, food and beverage or oil and gas, as long as you are familiar with high complexity

• You also have project management experience and are ready to step into the role from day one. You are technically strong in instrumentation, and this will be your next obvious career move

• You speak and write English fluently and are willing to be on-site in Hillerød minimum 4 days a week. In the event that relocation is required, assistance will be offered
