Project Quality Engineer

As part of this growth, we are looking to expand our Quality team to support the increasing demands from our customers.

Driving the development of project quality

Together with your colleagues, you will be leading the quality activities on our customer delivery projects. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that we are compliant with the requirements in the contracts and that project teams are working in accordance to our project model.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Review of project contracts to ensure that all relevant quality requirements are identified and cascaded.
• Drive the development of procedures and quality standards to ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation, regulations and best practices.
• Ensure that all necessary quality, inspections and test plans are issued in a timely manner.
• Deliver input to our Project Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and project specific requirements.
• Assist the tender process by ensuring that the quality demands in the contract are aligned with internal processes or capabilities.
• Provide support to Project Managers by developing and implementing relevant new business support initiatives.
• Perform internal and external audits to assess and improve overall quality.
• Identify training needs and organize relevant training sessions to enhance the quality awareness and skills.

As all projects involve many different engineering and production disciplines, you will naturally establish a close collaboration with many colleagues across the organisation.

Proactive and hands-on approach

We are looking for a colleague that has experience working with quality in a project driven organisation with customer specific projects – preferably in an industry similar to ours. You have the ability to drive the long-term perspective and process optimization within quality management while still being hands-on in the day-to-day activities in the project.

Furthermore, your CV includes several of the points below:

• A relevant educational background, preferably within engineering.
• Professional experience with ISO 9000 and AQAP quality systems, continuous improvement tools, statistical principles and applications.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management standard DS_ISO 10007 is an advantage.
• An ability to communicate across all levels both towards the technical staff as well as senior management.
• A sense of urgency and with the ability to push the quality agenda forward internally.
• General PLM/ERP system knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
