Your future role
As a Project Test & Commissioning Manager your main role will be to plan and manage Test & Commissioning activities on a complex railway signalling project in which Alstom is upgrading the Danish mainline railway network with state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology.
You will be a member of the Validation & Commissioning organisation in the Alstom office in Copenhagen. As a member of the project Core Team you will also report to the Project Manager and manage internal interfaces with other disciplines and external interfaces to the customer and suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
- Defines the T&C plan and strategy for the project
- Supervises the development/update of project T&C procedures
- Works with project planning, installation and migration manager to define a detailed planning for T&C activities and organize track possessions
- Ensures the T&C team follows the T&C process, uses the right procedures and right tools
- Prepares and manages Test & Commissioning works in the field – Material, tools, documentation, people, access and logistics
- Ensures occupational Health & Safety for field activities with guidance and support of site EHS manager: contributes to the development of EHS plan, ensures compliance to EHS rules (Zero deviation), reports deviations or improvement suggestions
- Ensures that all installation or design related issues detected during the test activities are correctly reported (defect description with associated test context) in the adequate tools (punch list, defect management tool)
- Anticipates issues and reports / alerts on progress, issues and risks on a regular basis
- Manages internal interfaces (Installation, Project Engineering, Warranty) and external interfaces with Customer and suppliers.
- Provides QCD commitments and monitoring performance for the project T&C Work Package
- Defines together with T&C leaders and V&C group manager the allocation of T&C team member to activities and support in the definition of the T&C team staffing plan
- Supports with the training and competency development of the T&C team.
- Responsible for the REX on T&C activities, proposes improvements of the T&C way of working / process / tools and the T&C Reference Library to optimize T&C performance
All about you
- Master's degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
- Multiple years of experience in T&C or V&V activities for signaling projects.
- Experience of team management.
- Good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken).
- Quality-focused and team-player.
- Available to work in field also for night shifts.
- Customer satisfaction and results orientated.
