The departments belong to the Recombinant Drug Research CVP area in Global Research Technologies (GRT) and are situated outside Copenhagen in Måløv, Denmark.
We are engaged in early research projects using state-of-the-art technology to deliver purified proteins and peptides from recombinant expressions carried out in sister departments for the development of lead molecules and selection for clinical development. In this context, the department is responsible for the purification of challenging tool proteins, platform-based automated purifications as well as highly customized purification of engineered variant molecules in milligram to gram scale quantities. In addition, the department also supports cell line development and is responsible for developing the initial purification process suited for transfer to our CMC colleagues.
