Do you want to be part of a company whose purpose is to make a bigger difference for you, me, and the rest of the world? Do you want to be proud to say that you work in a global company which, by supplying quality products, helps to increase traffic safety for all of us? Then read on. Right now, we are searching for a new colleague to fill the role as QHSE Engineer at our Office in Rudkøbing, Langeland.

As our new QHSE Engineer, reporting directly to the Head of QHSE Europe, you will be responsible for implementation of the QHSE Strategy, ensuring compliance and following requirements and local guidelines.

In this role you will be a central player in funding QHSE in processes, routines and culture in our production sites, with a deep understanding of the team dynamics and focus on continuous improvement together with the local colleagues.

You will, in close corporation with the rest of the QHSE Team, be a key player in developing and implementing best practices in the QHSE area on our European production sites.

Key tasks and responsibilities

As a QHSE Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our global QHSE strategy. Your focus will be on integrating QHSE seamlessly into daily operations, enhancing skills through knowledge-sharing and training initiatives. You’ll lead efforts to elevate QHSE standards, streamline core processes, boost cross-functional collaboration, and continuously upgrade our QHSE management system.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining multisite ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
  • Planning and conducting internal audits as the Lead Auditor across various locations.
  • Organizing and facilitating Management Review meetings, including risk assessments.
  • Analyzing nonconformity data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and mitigate risks.
  • Participating in FPC audits aligned with national road marking standards.

You'll also play a crucial role in promoting Health & Safety across Geveko Markings globally and will contribute to our sustainability reporting as part of the CSRD compliance process.

About you

  • Relevant technical education is likely.
  • Proven experience in developing and integrating quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Trained auditor with hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety (H&S) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) is beneficial, but not required.
  • Strong QHSE expertise with minimum 3-5 years in a central QHSE Engineer/Specialist role within a large quality department, or as a QHSE Manager in a smaller company.
  • Proficient in IT and documentation, with familiarity in modern Quality Management Systems.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, suitable for an international work setting.

We imagine that:

You’re an energetic communicator and a natural collaborator, ready to drive the growth of a QHSE department with purpose and precision. Business-focused and detail-savvy (without sweating the small stuff), you bring leadership and a strong sense of responsibility to every setting—whether on the shop floor or in the office. With an analytical mind and a structured approach, you’re all about results that matter.

We offer

We offer a friendly and social workplace where a positive atmosphere and a sense of togetherness are key—whether it’s enjoying shared breakfasts, celebrating with cake, or simply connecting over everyday moments. Our staff club hosts a variety of events, from stand-up comedy nights and bowling outings to charity initiatives, summer gatherings, and festive Christmas parties, creating plenty of opportunities to relax, bond, and have fun together.

Additionally, we as a company offer:

  • An international workplace which is why you should expect 20-25 travel days per year.
  • An exciting position with great professional challenges in an ambitious team.
  • A growth-oriented company that sets the global agenda. The company has the strongest brands on the market and is recognized for high quality products.
  • A company paid pension and health insurance

Think you are the perfect fit?

Then go ahead and apply now. We continuously review CVs and applications.

If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Head of QHSE, Europe, Lars Hauge, by email [email protected] or by phone +45 24 29 56 74.

We look forward to hearing from you!
