Quality Controller

To strengthen and further develop the quality work at Ferrodan, we are looking for a dedicated and professionally skilled quality employee. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring high production quality and driving improvement activities that optimize the company’s internal processes with the goal of reducing quality costs (COPQ).

Responsibilities and Tasks

Your main tasks will include (not in prioritized order):

• Handling internal deviations and following up on rejections
• Training and educating employees
• General follow-up on production and quality levels
• Handling customer complaints (8D) in collaboration with the Quality Manager
• Preparing procedures and instructions related to internal quality processes and quality control
• Driving optimization and improvement processes in the foundry to reduce COPQ
• Assisting with sorting tasks related to deviation handling

Professional Qualifications

• Education as a foundry technician, industrial technician, or production engineer
• Experience with quality tools and methods
• Knowledge of cleaning and grinding processes is an advantage

You are solution-oriented and capable of building relationships with colleagues and partners to maintain a shared agenda.

You are a good team player, and your approach to tasks is service-oriented and structured. Your drive makes it natural for you to take responsibility and meet deadlines.

As a person, you are outgoing and resilient, thriving in an environment with tight and demanding deadlines. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken is a must, fluent in Danish is a advantage.

You are not deterred by physical work, as sorting parts based on quality will be part of the role.
