Quality Inspector (Propulsion)

Orbex is looking for a Quality Inspector to join the propulsion team, and act as a point of contact for the Copenhagen office on matters of quality management.
You will setup procedures, SOP’s and ensure that quality standards are followed.
Your contributions and knowledge will greatly influence Orbex's journey to its first launch! Orbex      Orbex is a leading micro-launch company with our Prime vehicle being prepared to launch from our home spaceport, Space Hub Sutherland.

#160;   The Position   Your role may evolve beyond what is listed below and will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
#160;   Monitor and updates to Quality Management System documentation as directed  Conduct quality product conformance inspections and verifications, writing reports and initiating appropriate action.
Witness testing and validate the results Approve and/or reject parts, write corresponding reports and track equipment listing Perform audit reviews and updates, by communicating with auditees on status and resolution  Process Material Rejections and Non-Conformances and extract computer data for statistical reports  Liaise with internal departments and external customers on quality matters, draft reports, and assist in preparing Quality Documentation  Responsibility for monitoring and calibrating inspection equipment, ensuring that all tools are in proper working order and capable of delivering precise measurements  Key Qualifications and Experience   Previous experience and certification in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, ideally from an Aerospace, Engineering, Automotive, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas or Military backgrounds  Background in process, quality or manufacturing of high precision parts Proficient with precision measuring tools Knowledge of materials and their properties, specifically relating to metal machining, including high performance nickel-based alloys, aluminium and copper chromium zirconium  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings   Ability to use measurement tools and equipment  Desirable skills and experience:

This role is based in Copenhagen at Orbex’s Danish propulsion engineering and manufacturing site.
