Quality-minded Production Scientist - Maternity cover

As one of our scientists will be taking maternity leave, we are seeking a candidate who can help cover their duties while they are away. This is a maternity cover contract for a minimum of 12 months, with an opportunity for extension or permanency at the company.

Well Organized Production Scientist 
As our new colleague, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the department is in compliance with the GMP and ISO standards we follow. You will be involved in writing and maintaining the relevant documentation, facilitating optimization of procedures, and supporting the staff training activities of the department. Furthermore, you will be an important link between the other departments at Nordic Bioscience, including Quality Assurance, Research and Development, and Nordic Bioscience Laboratory. You will work with the team to:

• Manufacture ELISA and i10 assays
• Write the necessary documentation, including production plans, reports, as well as SOPs and deviations
• Maintain and qualify equipment
• Maintain our Assay Catalogue database and product stock

Qualifications and qualities
You enjoy  working in a team environment. You work well independently and use your organizational skills to plan your work. You have a strong quality mindset, are good at maintaining an overview of projects, and have a keen eye for detail. A flair for technical equipment and digital solutions is a bonus. Furthermore, you should exercise the following:

• A scientific or engineering Master's degree within biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, biomedicine or similar OR relevant experience.
• Previous work experience in a scientific environment is a bonus.
• Experience working in a GxP regulated environment is a benefit, along with knowledge of ISO and GMP requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish.

Development and Production
Our department Nordic Bioscience Development and Production (NBDP) is responsible for the manufacture of immunoassays, both manual ELISA and our automated platform. These assays are measured in our Nordic Bioscience Laboratory division, who perform clinical sample measurements for external partners, such as CROs, Central Laboratories, and Pharma/Biotech companies. NBDP is a strong and well-functioning team, consisting of our Director, two team-leaders, two scientists, nine laboratory technicians, and two laboratory assistants.
