Quality Specialist, Labelling

Does it fascinate you that potentially 27 million people could read your work every morning on their cereal box? Then you might be our new Quality specialist in Labelling at Coop Trading A/S.

 

As Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Labelling department which currently consists of five Quality Specialists.

Coop Trading´s purpose is to deliver A better everyday through leading Nordic private brands. 
In Labelling, we contribute to this purpose by coordinating and quality assuring the declaration text for all the common Nordic Private Brand products.

 

We make sure that physical products and the connected data is correct and complies with applicable legislation and Coop's standards to give consumers the best possible experience with our products.
We carry out our work in close collaboration with our Procurement, Product and Quality and Design departments as well as partners and external stakeholders and suppliers.

Your key responsibilities: 
•    Coordinate translations and proofreading of declarations into relevant languages.
•    Quality-assure and final approve text on artwork before printing.
•    Communicate with external suppliers and business partners about possible adjustments to texts.
•    Follow up on the physical products after production.
•    Secure master data to ensure among other legal online sales, and helpful information in stores and advertising.

 

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you: 
•    Have a bachelor’s degree within food or chemistry, as minimum. 
•    Have hands on experience in working with legislation and declaration texts.
•    Have an interest and flair for IT and sees it as a potential to understand more complex data.
•    Are fluent in written and spoken Danish (knowledge of other Nordic Languages is a bonus).
•    Are good at spelling and your understanding of grammar is particularly good.
•    Have excellent skills in English communication, both written and spoken.
•    Work with attention to detail, in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
•    Thrive with short deadlines and planning your time to maintain overview.
•    Have a service-minded and attentive approach to your stakeholders.
•    Have a “one step ahead” and ambitious mindset with a desire to make a difference and challenge the status quo.

Additional information:

Place of work: We are moving to new and modern office premises at Skelbækgade 2, 1717 Copenhagen V, in January 2025. 

It is a requirement to be able to meet at the office every week; however, it is still possible to work from home a few days a week.
