The position 

As a Quality Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will define, monitor and improve activities, processes, and standards to fulfil quality requirements for Novo Nordisk products.  

Other responsibilities will include: 

  • Report on process deviations and defects 
  • Support and develop external suppliers ensuring adherence to organisational quality control standards and policies. 
  • Drive systematic problem solving for complex and critical issues related to quality. 
  • Develop and implement quality strategies, establish quantitative measurements, and drive improvements across external suppliers network. 
  • Participate in global travel opportunities to support training initiatives of Novo Nordisk’s external suppliers regarding quality control of our products. 

 

Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate who are self-driven and outgoing, with great communication and collaboration skills to validate the work of your colleagues, without compromising our high-quality standards.  

You are a perfect candidate if you: 

  • Hold an academic degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 8+ years of experience in quality of the pharmaceutical or medical industry. 
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of quality strategies, control processes, and techniques for measuring and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. 
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing quality control strategies, assessing risks, and preparing activity and progress reports. 
  • Excel in communication and problem-solving, with the ability to explain complex and critical issues effectively to high-level stakeholders and management. 
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English. 
  • Have experience in project execution. 

 

About the department 

You will join our team of Quality Supporters. Focus of our team is to support process of inspection of Novo Nordisk components. We are dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards of our products. Our team works collaboratively to drive improvements and standardisation across the organisation. The job is based in Hillerød in Denmark, where we foster a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, with a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
