The position
As our Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will be part of the Supply Chain Digital, Data & IT (DDIT) Data & Analytics department and be responsible for establishing and developing the Agile Ways of Working in our new Supply Chain Data & Analytics ART. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient delivery on the ART roadmap by facilitating and coaching Business owners, POs, delivery team and other stakeholders in adopting an agile way of working. This includes providing collaborative leadership to the ART members by applying Agile practices (such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe) and help the Agile teams embrace and practice the values and principles of Agile.
As the RTE, you will be a member of the ART Leadership team and will be a key driver to ensure that the newly established ART is able to deliver on its roadmap via strong and well-anchored processes. In addition, it is expected that the RTE takes the lead in influencing stakeholders’ behaviour to ensure Agile ways of working on all levels of the organisation. To be successful, you are expected to understand the context of how the ART delivers value via a data foundation and constantly professionalise the delivery process through the Agile Ways of Working.

About the department
DDIT PS Supply Chain – Data & Analytics is a newly-established department in Ballerup (Denmark) and is a part of Novo Nordisk Global DDIT organisation. Our ambition is to be a Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence to support the Global Supply Chain organisation by building a scalable Data Foundation – to enable their vision for insights. The short-term focus of the department is to establish an Agile Release Train (ART) together Analytics teams from Supply Chain, and jointly deliver on the first prioritised insights use cases in an efficient and scalable manner during 2025.
