On behalf of CISC, Basico is looking for a Reporting Specialist to their Fund & Investor Reporting Team

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) enable high-performing greenfield energy infrastructure projects through specialist competencies, proactive business development and scalable solutions.

They work exclusively for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and are owned by the funds managed by CIP.

As Reporting Specialist, you will refer directly to the Head of Fund & Investor Reporting and work closely with 8 highly skilled and committed colleagues in the Fund & Investor Reporting team ‒ both in Copenhagen and in Luxembourg ‒ but you will also work independently and take ownership of the core processes of your role.

You will be responsible for the reporting part of the financial end-to-end process, e.g. preparation of quarterly investor reporting, including overall controlling and analysis of the performance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the reports and contributing to improve organisational efficiency.

Furthermore, your role will require you to bring reporting and IFRS knowledge to projects across finance and the business.

On a daily basis, you will engage with a broad range of contacts, both internally and externally.

Some of the primary tasks are:

• Supporting all aspects of quarterly and year-end financial management, investor reporting and audits, while incorporating IFRS/GAAP accounting into investor reporting
• Assisting in the creation of presentation materials for investors and fund management
• Streamlining financial reporting processes, assisting with the automation of existing workflows and contributing to the development of new processes
• Assisting in enhancing and implementing the financial reporting framework for new funds and assessing new requirements from investors and regulators
• Assisting with reporting-related workstreams in projects spanning the finance function and the wider organisation.

Your profile

You hold a relevant master’s degree within Finance, Economics or Business Administration or is on your way to completing it combined with few years of full-time experience from a similar position, from Big4 or from a medium/large commercially driven company.

Based on your experience, you have developed an understanding of fundamental accounting principles, complete financial statements and IFRS standards.

You take charge, act proactively and show personal leadership of your own tasks as well as of your team’s tasks.

You are highly analytical and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

You are ambitious, results-driven and communicate openly and clearly. You are positive, service-minded, and structured.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and you are fluent in written and spoken English.
