The Pension Research Centre (PeRCent) PeRCent at Department of Finance is looking to hire a Student Research Assistant, who is interested in supporting our research in household finance. The task will mainly be to analyze firm and household level data, for example w.r.t. decisions on savings, pension, housing, investments in securities, mortgages and other credit, etc.

About PeRCent:

Desired Qualifications:
To support our research, we are looking for a student of economics, finance, or a related field. Main tasks include various analyzes and statistics based on microdata (register data). We therefore prefer applicants with a solid foundation in econometrics and statistics. As the majority of the work involves analyzes of register data experience with microeconometrics will be an advantage, but not a requirement. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office skills, notably in Excel is required. Familiarity with analytical software like STATA and R is also expected. Finally, exceptional academic performance, self-reliance, and a proactive learning approach are highly regarded.

Salary and employment conditions
Employment will be according to the HK-organisationsaftale and the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Offentligt Ansattes Organisationer (OAO-S Fællesoverenskomsten).

The salary currently amounts to between DKK 140.57 and DKK 147.46 and depends on previous clerical occupation and level of education. Pension contributions are made. The pension contribution amounts to 15% of the pensionable salary components.

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are a student enrolled at a Danish institution in higher education or in a professional bachelor program; and that, at the start date at the latest, you have a physical address in Denmark, a Danish social security number and a Danish bank account.

Recruitment Process
Copenhagen Business School invites all qualified candidates to apply for the position. A selection committee will evaluate the applications and invite a selection of qualified candidates for an interview.
One of CBS's strategic goals is to promote diversity and inclusion in our organization. Therefore, we strive for a recruitment process that minimizes potential bias. Consequently, we encourage applicants not to include a photo or unnecessary personal information in their application.
