The position
We are seeking a talented Research Scientist to be part of Integrated Physiology Research (IPR) and participate in changing the quality of life for millions of people with cardiometabolic diseases. The position will become part of the Diabetes Pharmacology department in Måløv but will contribute to projects across all departments within IPR.
As a Research Scientist, you will be a key contributor to executing the digital strategy of IPR, including data management, data workflows and data analysis. You will contribute to the digital upskilling of multidisciplinary teams requiring hands-on working with data, being part of building necessary digital solutions/tools, and collaborating with the internal partners on (global) digitalization projects. Moreover, you will also work closely together with our colleagues in the Digital Science and Innovation area.

Qualifications
You hold a Ph.D. or a Master’s degree in biology or life science and profound expertise in at least one programming / scripting language (Python, R, or similar).

Integrated Physiology Research within Global Drug Discovery in Novo Nordisk, specialises in the discovery of biological medicines for the treatment of cardiometabolic and rare diseases. Integrated Physiology Research is a global function consisting of five departments (located in Måløv, Denmark and Boston, US) with in vivo pharmacology and microphysiological systems at our core.
We collaborate closely with our colleagues within Global Drug Discovery, Global Research Technology, Global Translation and Digital Science & Innovation beyond to drive projects forward and translate our findings into novel, effective treatments for cardiometabolic disease.
