restaurantchef (food and beverage manager)

We are looking for a manager to join our existing team of 4 managers. We are currently 120 happy employees spread over 3 restaurants in Aarhus (classic 65 + Bár Habla + Latino Bár ) Your everyday life will take place in the restaurant and the majority of your time will be spent with your team and the guests on the floor. Together with the other managers, you have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the restaurant, and your greatest asset is your employees. You ensure that the interaction between the kitchen and the restaurant becomes a higher unity. The job involves, among other things, building a team of middle managers and employees, which your main task is to keep top-motivated, because you are fully aware that without your employees, nothing works. You are responsible for ensuring that the staff in the restaurant is always in the right place, neither too many nor too few. You help and support your employees in their tasks, such as beverage order, product order, optimization of the restaurant, service, cleaning. You have a flair for management and can keep a cool head in stressful situations. A committed manager who is passionate about service and management and loves dealing with guests. You must think it's funny when the whole restaurant is full and people are waiting outside for the next available table. (but you are also top tuned and have an eye on every finger on a typical Monday evening) You love to see which of your staff can be developed and help and support them in this. You are good at looking ahead and at delegating tasks that can make service in the evening run smoothly and without problems. – and not least good at solving the small tasks that may come up. You thrive on evening and weekend work. If you don't have a great understanding of wine, fear not, we'll help you with that. As a member of our management team, you are the link to our employees and can ensure that small things run smoothly. If you don't have much experience in management, we already have a good team in the management group who can support you and give you plenty of guidance - as long as you have the will to learn.
