Do you live near Vejle, Kolding, or Horsens, and would you like to be part of a team that constructs some of Denmark's best roads and bike paths?
As a Road Surfacing Operative, the day usually begins early in the morning when the team gathers at the new worksite. In a large team, there are five asphalt workers, a foreman, and a supervisor. At the start of the day, we come together to discuss the tasks at hand and the areas where we will be laying asphalt. We also conduct a safety assessment, where we discuss what precautions to take.
You may be operating various machinery such as paver, rollers, tractor or chipper etc. Throughout the day, we frequently move to new locations, allowing you to see many of Denmark's cities and roads.
When the workday ends, you typically commute home with a few of your colleagues who reside nearby.
During the peak season, we spend many hours together on the job. This allows us to form strong bonds and get to know each other like a family.
You apply for the job by uploading your resume.
