Opening Summer 2025 – the opportunity to join the pre-opening team of 1 Hotel Copenhagen and bring a transformative brand to Denmark. 

1 Hotel Copenhagen is centrally located at the intersection of the city’s vibrant Latin Quarter and its historic heart; it will feature 282 rooms including 30 suites.  With a Green-Michelin-starred Chef at the helm, the property will also feature locally sourced, seasonal cuisine as eclectic as the city itself at the signature restaurant and bar. Guests and locals alike can find tranquility in the nature-inspired Bamford Wellness Spa, connect with the natural world in the property’s urban garden complete an on-site bee hotel, or embark on an adventure, exploring Copenhagen's rich tapestry of parks and museums on bike. 

As a Sales Coordinator, you will assist the sales team by managing reservation requests, ensuring they are accurately entered into the PMS system and promptly responded to. You'll support with database updates, handle mailings, and contribute to sales action plans, while also maintaining accurate property information. Your role will involve regular communication with clients in both English and Danish, collaborating with key sales colleagues, and helping organize collateral for client events. You will also assist in identifying new business opportunities, researching potential clients, and supporting client site visits. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in PMS systems are essential for success in this dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

About you… 

  • You have experience in a similar role, providing assistance to the sales team. 
  • Prior experience with a luxury hotel brand is a valuable asset.   
  • You have experience with PMS systems.  
  • You are capable of analyzing daily arrivals lists to identify potential new accounts, as well as helping compile monthly sales action plans with budgets, in collaboration with the Director of Sales.  
  • You have excellent communication skills in both English and Danish. 
  • You can effectively communicate client requirements to relevant hotel departments in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, maintaining accurate company and property information for all sales presentations.  
  • You are proactive in supporting reporting activities, including daily production reports and assisting in researching companies to identify potential new clients via platforms like and Business Desk.  
  • You are a team player with a collaborative attitude, working closely with the Director of Sales, and Sales Managers.  
  • You have experience supporting client site visits when needed and are comfortable writing or typing minutes and notes associated with internal meetings within the Sales & Marketing department, ensuring communication is clear and effective.
