Job Description

NielsenIQ is searching for a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to amp up our qualified leads and sales pipeline. Here’s what this role is all about:

  • Sorting through inquiries to spot the ones ready to take the next sales step.
  • Using email, social media, and calls to set up those crucial first meetings with potential clients.
  • Making sure our in-person and virtual events shine by drumming up excitement before and following up afterward—you’re the friendly face that starts their journey with us.
  • Coming up with and producing high-quality content that showcases our value and boosts our popularity.

To rock this role, you’ll bring professionalism, enthusiasm, and stellar communication skills. We value independence but thrive on teamwork and collaboration.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Staying up-to-date with our products and industry trends to become our go-to expert.
  • Chatting with decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses, showing them how NielsenIQ can solve their challenges.
  • Quickly responding to inbound inquiries to gauge their readiness for sales.
  • Reaching out to potential clients via calls, emails, social media, and even hitting up events like trade shows to seize every opportunity.
  • Generating buzz before our marketing events and ensuring smooth follow-ups afterward to see how we can lend a hand.
  • Planning your schedule smartly to connect with the right people at the right time—researching, planning calls, and crafting messages that hit home.
  • Creating compelling content that highlights our value proposition and increases our visibility and reputation.
  • Not just meeting but exceeding goals for calls, emails, and meetings booked.
  • Keeping meticulous records of every interaction in our system to ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks.
  • Working closely with our sales team to turn leads into opportunities that leave everyone smiling.

What You Need:

  • Minimum 1 year in sales or the FMCG industry (bonus points for FMCG food experience).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills that impress even the toughest client.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Stellar listening and communication skills that make every conversation count.
  • Organizational skills that keep you on top of your game.
  • Fluent in English and native in one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Norwegian and/ or Swedish).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with small and medium-sized businesses or FMCG data.
  • Knowledge of FMCG food manufacturing.
