Weibel Scientific is the world’s leading manufacturer of highly advanced instrumentation radars for testing and measuring airborne objects. Weibel is looking for a Sales Director to join our existing group of regional Sales Directors. If you have experience from technical product sales, project sales, engineering, business-to-business or business-to-government; and consider yourself to be, or have the potential to become, a strong technical marketeer, then you may be what we are looking for.

Sales of instrumentation radars is challenging due to the advanced technology and complexity of the product. The business is international, long-cycle, technology-driven and most often transactions are multi-million dollars. It is a heavyweight business and to succeed in the role as Sales Director you must have a good technical understanding while at the same time having a commercial mindset. A successful Sales Director will typically have an engineering background from a radar-relevant domain such as microwave, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or processing software.
As Sales Director – Instrumentation, you will join a team focusing on taking our instrumentation radars to the market. You will focus on B2G and B2B sales of Weibel’s solutions to proving grounds, system integrators, and space organisations. You will work independently with responsibility of your own designated countries and accounts, but have close collaboration with Weibel’s other Sales Directors, System Engineers, Market Management, Bid Management, Project Management, Legal, etc.

You should expect to travel around 40-50 days per year.

The position will require that you can obtain a NATO Secret security clearance in Denmark.
Our HQ is at Allerød – north of Copenhagen, Denmark, and we expect that you work onsite at our HQ when you are not travelling.
