As a Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing sales organization, formulate strategies, and make a significant impact on our success in Denmark.
If you’re a motivated leader with a passion for building relationships and achieving results, we want to hear from you! Objectives of the position * Plan, develop, and direct all aspects of the Sales Organization to meet established sales targets and objectives in collaboration with the Nordics Surgery team. * Formulate and communicate strategic and tactical plans for the sales team, ensuring alignment with Denmark, Nordic, and EMEA direction. * Ensure effective execution of policies and plans to drive business growth and achieve both long-term and short-term objectives. Key Tasks: * Take responsibility for sales and operational expenditure (OPEX) for the business. * Deliver the sales and marketing strategy, ensuring profitable growth that exceeds market competition, in alignment with the Danish and Nordic strategy. * Coach, equip, and motivate the sales team, through rigorous training, process organization, and personal development initiatives. * Build a high-caliber candidate pipeline and continuously develop the Sales Team. * Cultivate strong relationships with customers and opinion leaders. * Represent the company at both country and Nordic levels, engaging with the market and the Nordic Leadership Team. * Conduct all business activities in compliance with ethical and legal requirements. Qualifications: * University degree (required). * Proven success in sales/sales management within the field of surgery (required). * Minimum of three years of leadership experience with a proven track record of success (required) * Fully bilingual in English and Danish (required) * Clinical knowledge of laparoscopic surgery, stapling, and energy devices (preferred). * Extensive experience in the healthcare sector (preferred). * Experience working with regional and national government officials (such as purchasers and politicians) (preferred) * In-depth knowledge of the medtech environment (preferred). * Willingness to travel 40% of the time.
