About the Company: Our esteemed client is at the forefront of multimodal transport services across Europe, seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join their team in Copenhagen. This permanent position is ideal for professionals who excel in vibrant commercial logistics environments.

About the Role: As a Sales Manager for South Sweden, you will be part of an ambitious and highly dedicated PAN European commercial team. Your primary responsibility will be to grow the business and deliver the highest quality of service to the client base. You will focus on generating profitable volume and revenue growth across our client's products within the European door-to-door (D2D) business in trailers and containers to/from Sweden (and Denmark). Your role will emphasize lead generation, new account sales, and nurturing existing accounts over time. While based in Copenhagen, expect to be on the road in South Sweden several days a week to hunt new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Win new business.
  • Generate and qualify leads of potential new customers.
  • Develop and nurture leads/opportunities generated.
  • Share leads with colleagues (both receiving and giving).
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with potential new customers.
  • Involve and align with all relevant internal stakeholders, such as Customer Service and Product teams, during the sales process.
  • Ensure high-quality handover/onboarding of customers with Customer Service.
  • Share market insights with colleagues to contribute to the development of pricing structures.
  • Support Tender Management in creating competitive responses to tenders.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records.
  • Prepare regular sales and market reports, including your sales activities and pipeline.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences as needed.
  • Your Profile:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sales within freight forwarding or a similar field.
  • A hunter and a winner.
  • Customer-centric and decisive.
  • Commercial mindset and a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and directly.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Native speaker of Swedish or Danish, with proficiency in English at a negotiation level.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages and CRM systems.
