The Regional Security Manager (RSM) is responsible for delivering effective and efficient physical security operations and programs that protect Microsoft critical infrastructure. The RSM must be comfortable working in a highly complex, fast paced, and collaborative culture.

The successful candidate is good at managing a team of Campus Security Managers (CSMs) in geographically separated facilities, the RSM verifies compliance with security procedures and policies, tracks audit readiness, and provides direction to ensure physical security requirements are met or exceeded.
Your main tasks as Regional Security Manager will among other things be:
Oversees site-level operation of security systems and timely completion of projects and tasks.
Verifies compliance with security procedures, standards, policies, and best practices.
Supports regulatory, industry and contractual audits and Common Criteria.
Develops, manages, and maintains security-related processes, procedures, training, and improvement plans.
Documents and improves work processes to make workflow more efficient and productive.
We will of course make sure you are dressed for the task, with thorough training in all procedures and systems.
What do we expect of you?
You are a motivating manager with five or more years of managerial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. It's important that you know and follow safe work practices and are aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations.

Be able to meet and continue to meet licensing requirements for security officers, as applicable to local, county and state laws and regulations.
Know security operations and procedures applicable to a 24-hour facility
Be strong in both oral and written communication skills required to prepare materials and communicate information to others.
Conduct presentations and facilitate group meetings, both in person and online.
Demonstrate leadership skills, including planning, organizing, delegating, problem-solving, training, coaching, and recognizing or disciplining staff in a positive, effective manner.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Security Operations, the RSM works directly with management, the client, and other vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
