The position
As our new Specialist, you will set direction for validation and optimization of analytical methods for products within Diabetes, Obesity and rare Diseases, and help ensure that laboratories around the world have reliable analytical methods.
The job is placed in the Validation & Optimization team with the responsibility for maturing and validation of new analytical methods and optimization of established methods.

The responsibility covers a very broad spectrum of analysis techniques, such as UPLC and Raman, but your primarily responsibility will be within biological tests as ELISA, Surface Plasmon Resonance and Bioassay methods.

About the department
Analytical Science & Methods is a department in Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology (AMSAT) with around 70 employees organised in 3 teams. We are the central function for analysis of Novo Nordisk during late-stage development, as well as for marketed products. The department is responsible for validation of analytical methods before process validation in the production, and for the subsequent transfer and ownership of those methods to our QC laboratories across the world.
Additionally, the department is involved in testing and implementing of new analytical techniques to reduce the lead time for analysis, with the ambitious long-term goal of real time release test.
We strive to do all of this in a collaborative environment of joy and curiosity.
You will be part of the Analytical Validation & Optimization team with around 30 employees. Three managers, four specialists and area-specialists, 11 academics and 13 laboratory technicians.
