Your responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a lead role in the development, consultation, and delivery of SL Controls' smart factory offerings in Denmark as part of NNIT, catering to an established customer base that includes top-tier Pharma and medical device clients. To excel in this position, you will receive ample support, mentorship, and training for the role from the experienced SL Controls Subject Matter Experts team specialized in smart factory solutions.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our well-established multinational customer base, providing them with exposure to diverse customer deployments and solutions. This experience will greatly contribute to the development of their own expertise and consultancy skills for the role.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the business strategy and develop a local SME team delivering to our customers.
Your qualifications and experience:
Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent, with emphasis in software development, electrical, electronic or automation discipline, with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in industry, preferably in a pharmaceutical, MedTech, biotechnology, blue chip or relevant GMP manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:

Essential skills:
- Experience in delivering consultancy and direction to clients on automation systems.
- Strong technical ability on a variety of identified platforms and systems.
- Proven influencing ability on various technical platforms, demonstrating adaptability to pick up new technologies as needed for specific clients or projects.
- Well-established background and expertise in different technologies over the years, as demonstrated on their CV.
Desirable skills:
- Acquire a detailed understanding of all automation systems, programming languages etc. as required by assigned projects when they arise (distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, SCADA systems etc.) or latest CSV validation and quality techniques.
- Demonstrated proven / certified SME capability in PLC logic and programming with one or more of the following PLC’s programming languages or SCADA systems specific expertise:
- Allen Bradley
- Siemens
- Ignition SCADA
- Delta V
- AVEVA PI, formerly OSI PI
- SQL / Oracle
- AVEVA System Platform, formerly Wonderware
- OT Architecture
- OPC Kepware
- MES Integration
- MES experience with focus on workflow, S95 & S88 standards and integration from the control layer to MES in Med tech, pharma & bio-pharma industries.
- Strong capabilities in S95 level 1,2 and level 3 systems and their integration.
- Strong working knowledge of OLE for process control.
- Experience of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Process Control Systems (PCS), Recipe Managers - Siemens, Rockwell, Kepware OPC Server, AVEVA PI, RT Reports, AVEVA PI Asset Framework, Laboratory benchtop equipment, Learning Management Systems
- Strong exposure to MES technologies, including automated data collection, historian applications (SQL / Oracle / OSI PI), visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing.
- MES experience in implementing stable and scalable solutions for
- Continuous Data Retrieval from level 2 and level 3 systems
- Creation / loading of level 2 recipes
- Strong PL/SQL programming experience in software development with Microsoft Visual Studio / development tools; knowledge of web services, ASP and .net technologies.
- Strong SQL experience with exposure to both Oracle & SQL server databases along with crystal reports
- Experience with UNS (Unified namespace)
- Working knowledge with IIoT and Edge systems.
