Senior Cloud Engineer

At Stibo Systems, we’re seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the implementation and support of our cutting-edge Master Data Management platform. This is the role and main tasks
This is a dual role with approximately 75-80% of time spent on new implementations (deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, on-prem or partner hosted) and 20-25% of time spent on supporting customer issues pertaining to the STEP Platform.

The Senior Cloud Engineer will also participate in the presales process, assist in documentation, security & compliance, and establish best practices to be followed globally. You will have a broad interface and engagement internally within Stibo Systems as well as externally in relation to prospects, customers, and partners.

More specifically, you will:

• System Installation and Configuration: Install and configure infrastructure, operating systems, applications, and the STEP platform, including Oracle and Cassandra Database software.
• Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to gather technical requirements and provide guidance on integrating the STEP platform into their infrastructure.
• Product Evaluation and Optimization: Assess new products to meet business needs while ensuring optimal use of existing solutions.
• Infrastructure Architecture: Maintain and refine AWS and Azure architecture blueprints, publish architecture artifacts, and coordinate with operations, development, and quality teams.
• Presentations and Documentation: Develop and deliver presentations as needed, ensuring alignment with Stibo Systems' best practices.

The Team:
Based within the Technical Support Services Team, the Senior Cloud Engineer will focus on supporting the Stibo System Master Data Management platform (STEP) as SaaS offering and customer-hosted installations.

Who we are looking for:

• Extensive Experience: Minimum 5 years in Systems or Cloud Engineering, including 3 years with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (AWS and Azure).
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible), with a focus on Red multiple operating systems (Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®, Microsoft Windows Server).
• Networking and Security: Experience with IP Networking, VLAN, Firewalls, VPN, DNS, VNET, SSL certificate management, and user integration (SAML 2.0, LDAP).
• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with Oracle Database and Apache Cassandra.
• Adaptability and Collaboration: Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, and flexibility to adapt to changing timelines and minimal supervision.
