Senior Compliance Officer

We are hiring a Senior Compliance Officer to join the Risk & Compliance team of a leading European Fintech. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the company adheres to regulatory standards and maintaining high compliance as the business continues to grow.

Tasks

• Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with local and EEA regulations, focusing on maintaining alignment with industry standards and regulator expectations.
• Policy Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create and refine policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a robust compliance framework.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and implement a Compliance Monitoring Programme and deliver clear and concise reports to relevant stakeholders, including management and the authorities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal business units and external regulators, fostering strong relationships and providing guidance on compliance matters.
• Training & Awareness: Prepare and deliver training sessions on regulatory compliance for relevant employees, ensuring everyone is informed and engaged.
• Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks, providing subject matter expertise to support effective decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in compliance and governance within regulated financial institutions, with a focus on technology or financial services.
• A law degree or relevant compliance certifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Danish (must be business fluent in both languages to be considered)
• A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a growth mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
