Senior Data Engineer

The Position 

As a Senior Data Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you will:

Develop a Data Lakehouse, integrating data from multiple sources to power business intelligence solutions.

Design, develop, and refine advanced algorithms and data integrations to generate insights into project performance.

Identify, propose, and develop opportunities to utilise AI/ML in improving project performance.

Ensure data has a high quality and is distributed securely to stakeholders. 

As part of the Global PMO, you will work in the ‘CAPEX Reporting and BI’ team, which is responsible for the Management Performance Reporting and Review process for all organizations in Fill and Finish Expansions. The goal is to drive efficient decision making and facilitate a discussion on issues and actions at the highest levels of management. Business Intelligence solutions are central to this effort, which is to enable efficient and distributed decision-making at all levels.

Qualifications 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s within data science, economics or engineering.

3-5 years of experience as a data engineer, preferably in a global organization with solid understanding of data security principles.

Knowledge of Fabric and other data engineering tools (e.g. Azure) with strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages.

Experience in developing and optimizing scalable, robust, and quality-assured code for data extraction, transformation, ingestion, and reporting.

Experience with data lakes, business intelligence solutions, and AI/ML technologies.

Fluent spoken and written English is a prerequisite. 

Other than that, as a person, you have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 28,500 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology.
