If so, we want you to join our team as a Senior Data Scientist.
Danske Bank has a clear strategy to remain a leading Nordic Universal Bank. This will be achieved by continuing to develop our digital bank, delivering the best customer experience to as many people as possible in the relevant touch points, providing them with best possible advice about their financial situation.
As part of the Commercial Data Science Center of Excellence you will be working in our new modern office in Copenhagen and sit in a central part of Danske Banks commercial organisation. We support the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden and Finland) with Data Science projects.
We work closely with the development organization to deliver and integrate these solutions in our product offering such as the Mobile Bank, eBank, website and to frontline advisors.
We develop a wide range of models that identify customer needs and Life Events, used to present the customer with relevant messages and optimize our marketing activities.
Ultimately you will be working towards developing and automating data, AI and ML solutions that that can support Danske Banks commercial agenda.
Your Challenges
As our new colleague you will be joining the ongoing project focusing on customers’ life events and segmentation. Together with our Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and SME’s you will be embarking on a mission to get a better and more holistic understanding of our customers’ life journey. You will be involved in all stages of project’s life cycle and will contribute to mapping out major life events, uncover specific customer needs and design and timely and relevant solutions.

About the Department
We are a diverse team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers with colleagues in both Denmark, India and Lithuania. We have a very research-oriented culture and aim at staying up to date through various research projects with university partnerships across the greater Copenhagen area.
The Commercial Data Science CoE is part of Commercial Excellence where the commercial execution takes place. We play a vital role in developing Data and ML solution that support strategic initiatives and commercial activities.
We aim at creating a good social atmosphere by arranging events such as hackathons, board game nights, team days etc.
