About the Job 
We are looking for a skilled Senior Developer to join one of our development teams, where we develop and deliver complex solutions to life & pension customers in Denmark. Right now, we are on a journey towards creating new solutions with the newest technologies to have competitive products on the market that can support our customers and their business in many years to come, while still maintaining and improving existing solutions. 
 

The Team
The team consists of developers, actuaries, a product owner and is supported by a development director and a business line manager. We work in an informal but professional and ambitious environment with very skilled colleagues with different backgrounds and have an atmosphere characterized by collaboration, openness, positive energy, and a good sense of humor. We really enjoy working together and the team is eager to onboard a new great colleague.

The Product
The team works with the Policy Administration module in our Life & Pension Industry solution. Policy Administration covers calculation, events and administration.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities 
As our senior developer you will need to build a strong business understanding of our components, and you must have the ability to translate complex problems into great solutions. The learning curve will be steep if you do not have prior experience from the Pension industry. Your main tasks and responsibilities are: 

• Developing software of high quality in a complex and new technological setup
• Maintaining existing code based on strong coding principles
• Obtain and apply deep knowledge (code base and architecture) of multiple parts of the solution
• Be an active part of the Scrum team
• Optimizing performance
• Performing code reviews
• Collaborating closely with customers and colleagues outside of the team
• Support and be a role model for fellow developers
• Take responsibility for the team’s overall deliveries with high predictability and transparency
• Advocate best practices and actively identify potential software improvements

Qualifications 
You have a relevant degree within computer science or similar and at least 5 years of relevant work experience. We are looking for a full stack developer with some of the following qualifications: 

• .NET (C#) development
• Strong communication- and teamwork skills 
• An analytical mind and great attention to detail 
• Curious, ambitious and have a can-do attitude 
• Fluent in written and spoken Danish
• Proficient in written and spoken English
