Senior ESG Financial Controller

Pioneering ESG reporting in a dynamic corporate environment
In the role as Senior ESG Financial Controller, you will play a central role in defining and executing ESG reporting, combining financial expertise with a forward-thinking approach to sustainability compliance. You will work closely with diverse teams across Kamstrup, acting as a subject-matter expert, staying ahead of the evolving ESG and accounting regulations to ensure compliance while providing training and raising awareness of ESG compliance internally.

More specifically, you will be:

Helping driving our double materiality assessment and related gap analysis

Enhancing accounting practices and maintaining ESG reporting manuals

Optimizing and automating data collection for streamlined ESG reporting

Integrating ESG metrics into performance management frameworks

Developing and maintaining a robust internal controls framework

Contributing to other financial controlling tasks within monthly/annual reporting and budgeting etc.

Meet your future team
With reference to our Financial Controlling Manager, you will become part of a dedicated team with very broad responsibilities and a close connection to subsidiaries. With the new regulations such as CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) reshaping financial reporting, we are expanding our team to include a Senior ESG Financial Controller. You will be collaborating directly with our VP of Finance and other leading advisors within ESG. As a team we encourage and motivate our colleagues and ourselves to bring new ideas and smarter ways of working and we put pride in our close and collaborative relationship with our internal customers.

Less about us, more about you
We are looking for a Senior ESG Financial Controller who brings a solid financial foundation, paired with the curiosity and drive to pave the way forward for the rapidly evolving field ESG. Experience with ESG reporting is considered an advantage. To succeed, you develop and manage ESG reporting processes to ensure compliance while unlocking value for our business and stakeholders.

Ideally, you have:

A degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

Minimum 3 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting or audit roles from international companies

Knowledge of Danish GAAP and experience with group consolidation and external reporting

Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP, and BI tools

An analytical and a collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
