We are Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI), an independent company within Arla Foods with ambitions to become the world's leading supplier of whey-based ingredients for the food industry.
We are currently in the process of acquiring Volac, a leading whey processor focused on global sales of whey products for the sports nutrition segment. With 200 employees, Volac is a key addition to our growing organization. We are awaiting competition authority approval, expected later this year. Therefore we are looking for a Senior Finance Integration Manager, required to introduce and implement AFI Finance standards and operations in this newly-acquired entity so they can become fully functional and operational in the AFI Group.
Senior Project Manager with a strong understanding of finance operations
As Senior Project Manager, Finance Integration you will have the end-to-end responsibility of the finance part of the project from the early planning until the integration is completed and up running in AFI systems and processes. This position requires a strong understanding of finance operations, project management skills, process framework skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your main objective will be to ensure a successful integration into the overall AFI Finance and performance landscape, while adhering to regulatory demands and compliance requirements.
You will lead and manage the integration of Finance, Performance with AFI Finance, Arla Group and our Global Shared Service center around systems, processes, and data. You will lead this effort through 4 phases:

Who are you?
You have experience in project management and finance integration within a large organization. Previous project management experience is required, as well as several years of experience working in an international environment. Having strong systems skills, particularly in SAP and BI, would be advantageous. You should also have experience with a broad range of financial activities within a Global Finance organization. Holding a relevant finance or economics degree is necessary, and it is likely that you have more than 5-8 years of working experience.
As an individual, you are proactive and possess a can-do attitude that inspires others. You take the lead and motivate the project team on a daily basis. Your open-mindedness, flexibility, and hardworking nature allow you to understand when to seek flexibility and when stability is required. This enables you to strike the right balance and be proactive in delivering results. Strong stakeholder management skills are a must, as you will need to navigate across all levels of our organization.
You are a self-driven, independent person that gets your energy from goal achievements and working in a knowledge-intensive team based on collaboration. You are a great communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, and you communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing.
