The Position
As the Nature and Biodiversity Data Lead, you will be responsible for the Nature and Bio-diversity data track at Novo Nordisk that provides a foundation for the Novo Nordisk’s Nature strategy. The work includes developing tools, data, and metrics for measuring, improving, and reporting on Novo Nordisk’s nature and biodiversity impact, through the use of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Geographic Information Systems, and other data tools. The position is a maternity cover from March/April to February 2026.

About the Department
The world is changing and so are we. With a significant growth outlook for Novo Nordisk, it is of very high importance that the right environmental, nature and biodiversity solutions are created to drive the change towards zero environmental impact. Corporate Environmental Strategy is a diverse team responsible for ‘Circular for Zero’, where we strive for zero environmental impact. Our responsibility includes a variety of environmental initiatives across the organisation and with external stakeholders. We develop and deploy environmental strategies, run cross- organisational projects, drive environmental intelligence and ensure internal and external communication leading to a reduced Novo Nordisk environmental footprint. The department consist of 20 dedicated project managers and specialists, all highly engaged in driving the environmental strategy of Novo Nordisk.
