Novo Nordisk’s production site in Bagsværd is undergoing exciting development the coming years. We are producing injectable products to patients, while transforming our conventional production setup to a modern production technology.

We are currently looking for a new Senior Manager for Inspection – a position where you will have direct impact on product delivery to patients each and every day in an environment where we deliver together! Apply and join us!

The position
You will be part of Aseptic Manufacturing Bagsværd (AM BA). We produce marketed products and products to support the clinical trials in our development pipeline. Our production processes are complex, and the factory is an important part of providing quality products to patients globally.

As Senior Manager in Inspection you will primarily be responsible for inspection of marketed products together with app 80 dedicated people organized. The Inspection Department consist of 4 teams all lead by associate managers in your direct reference. One team with supporters/professionals and skilled workers and three production teams of operators. The operators and skilled workers are all working in shifts in day, evening and weekends - in a Danish speaking environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

Ensure high level of engagement, an organizational healthy organization and competent staff.

Stable delivery of high-quality products in a very regulated production environment.

Providing clear direction and build you team's ability to effectively translate business priorities into operational plans.

Drive and role model a lean mindset.

To not only run the business but also developing the way we work.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

Experience from a similar position in a high paced production facility (not necessarily in the pharmaceutical industry) in the capacity of Senior Manager or Manager.

It is important that you feel comfortable working in a high paced and regulated environment focused on quality and safety.

Leadership - lead towards achieving results by strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Stakeholder management – excellent at building relationships, manage expectations, and address concerns and issues effectively across the value chain.

Decision-Making – comfortable making even tough decisions in alignment with the organization's goals and values.

Change – great at implementing changes through role modelling, inspiring others, and building trust in your organization.

Growth minded – foster a culture where people constantly learn and grow through ongoing development and feedback.

You need to be able to communicate effectively in both Danish and English.

It is a great plus if you have been a successful Leader, leading both operators and also supporters/professionals in a pharmaceutical production environment.

About the department
The Inspection area consist of the four inspection teams(three production teams and one support team), and the Inspection is a part of Business Support & Inspection alongside our Review Center, Project Management Office, Warehouse, Supply Chain/Logistics, cLEAN and Training. In the Business Support & Inspection Department we are app. 180 employees, two sr managers and ten associate managers referring to the Sr Director.

We are a mix of support units to the production and also warehouse and inspection production, so we have many different disciplines in the overall Department. But most importantly we are all contributing to delivering quality products to clinical trials and marketed products to patients worldwide.
