Senior IT Project Manager

Your primary mission is to be the central link between the business and our application developers, where you ensure that the final solutions meet the organization's needs. 
You will have an exciting role where you continuously drive and anchor the implementation of both large and small IT solutions and projects.

LET US DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE
As a Senior IT Project Manager, your primary task will be to lead projects from maturation to execution, go-live and handover to operations. You are the link between the business, business partners and development teams, and you ensure that the final IT solutions meet the needs of the end user.

You will:

• Project management: Plan and coordinate the project's activities, ensure compliance with budget and schedules, and manage project finances.
• Business dialogue: Uncover and clarify business needs in collaboration with task setters and decision makers. Prepare project descriptions, use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Reporting and follow-up: Prepare steering group material and ongoing progress reporting.
• Implementation: Anchor new solutions in the organization and ensure handover to operations.
• Process improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvements in both the department and the business.

In our IT organization, we work closely together across several teams to support the Energi Danmark Group and our customers. IT Projects, consists of 6 dedicated employees who collaborate to develop and maintain solutions that cover everything from settlement and contract management to system and data integration. We contribute to improving work processes and creating value for our colleagues across the group.

NOW LET US SWITCH THE FOCUS TO YOU
You are an experienced project manager with a solid toolbox, which you use both to run your projects and spar with your colleagues. You work in a structured way and are used to managing projects independently from start-up to commissioning. You thrive with several projects at a time and manage to maintain an overview and a good mood.

We also hope you have:

• Solid experience with project management, including defining scope, resource requirements, schedules, and budget management.
• Understanding of software development and integrations, so you can communicate with developers and anticipate challenges.
• Experience in anchoring projects successfully in the organization, so you have a good understanding of what to do when and why.
• Effective communication skills in Danish and English, both written and oral.

As a person:

• You are structured, outgoing, actionable, and work independently.
• You are a strong facilitator who can communicate effectively with all kinds of stakeholders with or without technical backgrounds. You are in charge of building the bridge between IT and the business.
