Here is what the job entails
The IT/OT Senior Operations Engineer ensures IT and OT operations stability to maximize production uptime and efficiency. Key responsibilities include maintaining an optimal IT and OT environment, proactive system monitoring, incident resolution, and working with projects. The role involves leading equipment setup (PCs, printers, scanners, etc.) to improve manufacturing efficiency and serving as the primary contact for production-related IT and OT tasks. Additionally, the engineer coordinates with internal and external experts to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth operation of networks, servers, and backup systems in our production units. By setting an example and acting as a mentor to your colleagues, you will help establish and maintain high standards for our team.

More specifically, you will be:

Ensuring stability of IT and OT systems to maximize production uptime and efficiency

Maintaining our IT and OT environment and leading technical improvement projects

Providing technical support, resolve issues independently, and assist with equipment setup (such as PCs, printers, scanners)

Coordinating tasks with internal and external experts, focusing on network, servers, and backups

Aligning with teams across our factories and the Digitalization area, following and refining established workflows

Contributing to process improvements, documentation, and stay curious on industry trends to enhance OT operations

Reporting directly to our Head of Configuration Management & Manufacturing IT, you will join a Manufacturing IT team of five dedicated colleagues, who all sure the goal of ensuring IT and OT operations stability to maximize production uptime and efficiency. We are looking for an IT/OT Operations Engineer ready to continue in or advance to a senior role within Manufacturing IT and OT.

To succeed in this role, we envision that you:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, IT data technician, or a related field

Have at least three years of experience in a similar role

Possess extensive experience with various technologies and systems relevant to the production environment, e.g., client computer hardware, Microsoft Windows clients, printers, scanners, Microsoft Windows server, Linux and network

Are a strong team player with the ability to also work independently

Consider yourself a strong problem solver, a role model who inspires others, and a customer-focused senior professional

As we are an international organization, fluency in English is essential. Additionally, since all interactions with production operators are conducted in Danish, proficiency in Danish is mandatory.
