As our new Senior Key Account Manager, you will serve as Johnson Controls’interface for some of our largestregional existing and target customers with centralized decision making. You will be one of the IREF sales representativesinthe localIREF business salesteam covering all solution-areas of Industrial Refrigeration and Heat pump solutions within Denmark.
You will be stationed in our Roskilde office and report to the Sales Manager of the region. You will be expected to work effectively with peers, create / update on a quarterly basis, share strategic target account plans, as well as hold quarterly business progress and pipeline reviews to meet or exceed annual sales objectives with a customer centric mindset.
This role is designed to manage and support local keyaccount within the Industrial cooling and heat pump sector and focus on Johnson Controls’ key strategic customers in order tomaintain our existing market share and drive growth through the expansion of our solutions and services within our target accounts. Your goal will be to become a trusted advisor to these customers, ensuring retention and maximizing profitability by influencing specifications.
You can expect occasional travelling across Denmark as needed.
How will you do it:
Serve as the primary point of contact for major regional clients, building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
Target multinational companies in specific vertical segments through effective prospecting / targeting, qualifying and relationship development
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and qualify potential customers for strategic account development within the Industrial Refrigeration sector
Proactively target and engage multinational companies through effective prospecting and relationship management
Develop and maintain strong internal connections across sales, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless pre- and post-sales support
Champion Johnson Controls’ strategic initiatives, highlighting the advantages of our refrigeration solutions, including heat recovery
Set and exceed sales performance targets; develop contractual agreements and economic models that align with customer requirements and expectations
Implement strategies to gain commitment and collaboration from stakeholders demonstrating how our solutions align with their business objectives
Leverage insights from economic, financial, market, and industry trends to enhance customer outcomes and contribute to effective business strategies
Qualifications:
Experience in technical sales or business development within energy solutions
Proven track record of negotiating and closing large agreements with high-level stakeholders
Strong technical aptitude to understand and leverage technology roadmaps and digital strategies
Collaborative mindset with a high degree of passion, enthusiasm, and urgency for achieving revenue targets
Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of refrigeration and heat pump technology and markets
