The Team 
As part of Group Legal & GRC, you will join a team of eight professionals and contribute to a strong centralised function that supports Heimstaden’s strategic goals through expert legal and business advice and risk management. The department plays a key role in mitigating operational risks, ensuring stakeholder trust. 
 

Your Role in Our Team 
As Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide critical legal support across corporate and strategic investment activities, ensuring seamless execution of legal processes within the Heimstaden Group. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Corporate:  Corporate Law, Asset Management, as well as corporate structuring, strategy and corporate housekeeping, including management of joint ventures 

• Investment and financing: Work and advice within M&A and investments, including project management, drafting and negotiating transactional documents etc., Equity Capital Market Law, and Finance Law 

• Shareholder matters and board work: Shareholder management incl. preparatory work for the Board and general meetings. 

• Investor relations and capital raising: Support to capital raising team in raising capital and managing investor relations, including preparing and reviewing presentation material, providing input on structuring. 

• Governance, risk and compliance: Advice on and assistance within governance, risk and compliance work, strategically and on implementation 

• Knowledge management: Building internal knowledge databases and manage stakeholder education 

What You Bring 
We are looking for a legal professional with: 

• Minimum a Master’s Degree in Law. 

• At least 5 years of experience in a law firm, specializing in corporate, M&A, or transactional work. 

• Experience within real estate is advantageous but not mandatory 

• Proficiency in verbal and written business English
