Senior Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to be part of our AI development team. You will lead and drive transformative projects focusing on Generative AI – and occasionally Computer Vision. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing advanced machine learning solutions to enhance various aspects of the manufacturing processes within the life science industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong software background, an innovative mindset, and the ability to build robust ML solutions that make a tangible impact.

Expectations:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models with a particular emphasis on Generative AI. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biologists, operators, technicians, and engineers, to understand project requirements and develop tailored solutions.

• When needed, contribute to image processing tasks (e.g., object detection, classification), though the focus is on broader AI applications.

• Stay curious and informed about the latest advancements in ML, Generative AI frameworks, and related technologies—integrating them into ongoing projects.

• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
