We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Maintenance Team in the Fill & Finish Expansions at Novo Nordisk.

The position 

The maintenance work package is responsible for establishing maintenance strategy, programs and plans for new equipment at our new expansion sites across the globe, so it can run according to Novo Nordisk and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. This requires extensive knowledge about maintenance processes, equipment assessments, and commissioning. We are looking for candidates who have experience from both an operational environment and project management. 

 

As a Senior Manager for Maintenance Standards, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Daily leadership of the team and prioritization of tasks 

  • Development of maintenance standards, plans, and equipment requirements into operational procedures 

  • Providing support for operational organizations in the development of maintenance plans 

  • Developing and executing the maintenance strategy 

  • Building a clear roadmap for the team to succeed, onboard and develop competencies accordingly 

This role will require collaboration with our global sites, and some travel is expected, estimated at 3-5 trips per year. 

 

Qualifications 

To be successful in this position, you should have: 

  • An academic degree within engineering or life science, you can also be a marine engineer (maskinmester), or have technical background within maintenance 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience from an operations or maintenance organisation, preferably from a pharmaceutical production facility 

  • People management experience and flair for team development 

  • Experience working with SAP, risk assessments, and maintenance plans combined with solid understanding of GMP requirements 

  • Ability to communicate complex content in a simple way and fluency in written and spoken English 

 

About the department 

You will be joining the Fill & Finish Expansions department, where we are responsible for capacity expansion with Aseptic Production (AP) and Finished Product (FP) production. Our task is dedicated to designing, planning, and building new capacity across Novo Nordisk to meet the needs of millions of patients. We are at the forefront of rethinking drug product facilities, utilizing modern technology and setting the standards for the future of drug product production.
