The Position 

 

As a Senior Manager in DPP QA, you will lead and develop a team of about 15 employees ensuring a sound team atmosphere and development of the employees, report to the Director of DPP QA.  

 

You will get the opportunity to: 

 

  • Demonstrate people leadership and foster development of the employees and team 

  • Continue alignment of the QA Project Managers role in Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT) and roll-out of the standard QA project management  

  • Secure resources to and support DPP 

  • Demonstrate stakeholder skills by creating a network across Novo Nordisk Quality, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) and DPP 

  • Impact the strategy and culture for a new QA area

Qualifications 

 
We are looking for a new colleague with a passion for motivation and coaching people in a new established area. You will be part of our management team, delivering development project support from early to late clinical phase projects across Novo Nordisk. 

 

To be successful in this role, you: 

  • Hold a master’s degree in life sciences, engineering, project management or similar 

  • Have a several years of people leadership and management experience   

  • Have a strong background from working in GMP/pharmaceutical environment 

  • Ideally have a knowledge of requirements and guidelines for pharmaceutical development and production for clinical trials 

  • Are fully proficient in both written and spoken English 

It will be seen as an advantage if you have been working with external partners as Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and are familiar with project work. 

 

You have a high degree of initiative and engagement and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, combined with competencies to lead a healthy, engaging, and inclusive work environment. 

 

Finally, you have the ability of handling complex challenges in a cross functional project organization and thrive in an agile and dynamic environment, where priorities change rapidly. 

 

About the department 

Product Development (PD) QA is a new area in PSQIT established to gather all QA responsibilities for the Development Product Portfolio (DPP) from early development to life cycle management.  

The new organization will act as a QA single point of entry into PSQIT providing an end-to-end quality oversight, ensuring product quality encompassing scalability and manufacturability, regulatory compliance and patient safety from the first clinical GMP production to commercial production. Primary deliverables are establishment of quality strategies; quality engagements with contract organizations, and coordination of quality activities cross-functional to enable successful release of product. 

DPP QA consists of 2 teams, in total approximately 25 highly skilled employees. You will become part of a department with many interfaces across the organization both in Denmark and our international sites.
