The position
As a senior manager of Laboratory Solutions (LABS) site solutions, you are responsible for setting up a new function within Digital, Data & IT Product Supply (DD&IT PS) LABS. You will form and create a clear vision, value proposition, and establish the needed capabilities to cater for local QC IT for the relevant Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas within the Novo Nordisk Product Supply organisation.
The primary functional scope of the role is the responsibility of delivery of IT for 100+ computerized equipment (implementation, operation, maintenance, security and life cycle management) and supporting the LABS strategy of digitalisation and automation for future QC laboratories in Product Supply.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop LABS site solutions Business Plan, including securing needed funding and investments
• Build up and recruit needed capabilities to deliver on the value proposition, business plan and agreed deliverables with Line of Business
• Align with stakeholders and Product owners for the delivery teams to ensure quality and timeliness of delivery to Line of Business
• Work with the Business Owners and Head of LABS to ensure LPM (Lean Portfolio Management) alignment with LABS budgets to ensure operational excellence
• Manage a large, complex network of stakeholders (leadership and functional leads) across Senior Vice President (SVP) areas of Novo Nordisk
Another responsibility will be together with Agile People Leaders to ensure wellbeing and the right competence level of the teams and to drive a globalisation of the function via a Center of Excellence.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position should meet most of the following requirements:
• A master's degree (MSC or MBA) or similar graduate degree in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent job experience
• 8+ years of professional experience in a relevant field
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Expert experience in leading a transformation through personal advocacy, engagement and leadership
• Strong experience in Data Strategy & Management, program execution, driving strategy processes, and expert stakeholder networking and knowledge
About the department
LABS is the overall responsible for Laboratory IT systems for Novo Nordisk product supply. We focus on delivery of compliant IT and computerized equipment to the QC laboratories, ensuring a high service and the full life cycle of the systems. We work closely with our stakeholders at the sites to build the laboratories of the future. We are a department of about 55 people in Denmark divided between global laboratory systems and the local site systems primarily located in Hillerød, Bagsværd, Kalundborg and Gentofte.
