The position
In this exciting new opportunity as our Senior Manager, Media & Communications, you will focus on driving a proactive media strategy and providing ongoing counsel and support for our affiliates, as well as protecting and promoting Novo Nordisk’s reputation by establishing world-class issues management readiness. You will be a part of the exciting growth journey in our Region EUCAN (Europe & Canada) based in Copenhagen.
Furthermore, you will
Build a strong external communication strategy in collaboration with stakeholders to support our commercialization strategy
Provide continued assistance in connection with product launches mainly in obesity but also in other disease areas.
Create proactive media relations and public relations strategies to prepare for product introductions and raise obesity awareness through patient activation.
Establish and carry out issues management plans and training of leaders across our affiliates.
Collaborate with affiliates to promote crucial pipeline data through press releases as well as support affiliates in using real-world evidence studies for general media communications.
Work with reputation and media data and insights to drive the right decision making when it comms to media strategies.
Provide editorial guidance to Social Media campaigns
Qualifications
You have extensive experience as a seasoned communications professional in the pharmaceutical industry, where you have successfully engaged with media and senior stakeholders for many years. Your positive outlook, creativity, and strategic mindset are the driving forces behind your readiness to embark on the next chapter of your professional journey!
Furthermore, you have
Translating data into easy to understand layman language
In-depth understanding and experience working in area of commercial medical communications.
Proven results in managing complex, cross-organizational projects and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Proven success in creating and implementing issues management plans.
Degree in communications, journalism, or business.
About the department
The Communications department is responsible for leading the external and internal communications for the EUCAN Region including 35 affiliates.
You will report to the Regional Head of Communications & Sustainability and work very closely with the communication colleagues in affiliates, International Operations and Global, Public Affairs, as well as the commercial obesity team.
