Senior Manager Strategy Business Performance

Take your strategic consultancy experience in-house

Are you looking to transition from a strategic consultancy to an industry position?

Use your experience with supply chain and manufacturing to influence the strategic development of TechOps within Ferring Pharmaceuticals. In this role, your output will be featured at the highest levels of the company, allowing you to influence business direction and decisions.

You will join our Strategy & Business Performance team within TechOps, where we develop, manufacture, and supply high-quality products to patients worldwide so they can live better lives. Strategy & Business Performance is a small team that works with Global PMO, manufacturing strategy, and risk management.

You will collaborate closely with our Head of Strategy & Business Performance, Ingo Kauffmann, who is based in Switzerland along with the rest of your team.

Your day at Ferring
While you can expect some travel, your primary work location will be our International PharmaScience Center (IPC) in Copenhagen. From here, you will build essential relationships with your stakeholders across various functions, including our Global Manufacturing network, Global Engineering, Supply Network Operations, Manufacturing Technology & Science, and TechOps Quality.

Your core responsibility will be to collect data, run business cases, and translate your findings into actionable assessments and presentations for, e.g., the TechOps leadership team. With a focus on strategic planning and performance management, your key tasks will include (but are not limited to):

Liaising with TechOps senior management and leading workstreams for the development of TechOps manufacturing strategy

Developing “make or buy” analyses along with competitive analyses to define our competitive positioning

Recommending investments and leading the review with the financial team, site GMs, functional directors, and business leads

Building rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analyses to support business and functional leaders in translating strategies into actionable and quantitative plans

Developing and maintaining comprehensive performance management systems to track and report on key operational metrics

Creating and implementing standardized reporting processes to ensure consistent and accurate data collection across the organization

Your people skills carry as much weight as your analytic abilities, as you will need to reach out to and connect with the right people to extract the data necessary for your assessments.

We are also looking for you to bring:

Experience with strategic consultancy within e.g., supply chain or manufacturing

Solid experience working with senior management in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

A demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and international business environment

Experience running business cases, prioritizing data, and translating your assessments into strong PowerPoint presentations with a clear storyline

An intrinsic motivation to continuously educate yourself and the ability to pick up new information fast by creating connections and asking the right questions
