About your role

At Continia, we empower businesses with cutting-edge software solutions for accounts payable automation, expense management, and bank integration. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining the robust, high-performance platform that makes this possible. You'll work on solutions used by over 20,000 businesses globally, directly contributing to their efficiency and success.

You'll be at the heart of our platform development, leveraging your expertise in Azure, C#, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and platform engineering principles to create and enhance our core platform. This role involves more than just writing code; it's about actively shaping our platform strategy through architectural discussions, collaborating with other talented engineers, and constantly seeking ways to improve. We value engineers who are proficient in automation, standardization, and have a strong understanding of building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient platforms.

What you will be doing:

• Design, build, and maintain our Azure platform, focusing on security, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide platform solutions, including implementing core C# components shared across teams.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and observability/monitoring solutions.
• Develop and maintain tools and automation scripts (e.g., using Go, Python, Rust, Bash) to streamline development processes.
• Develop, maintain, and standardize our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Contribute to the management and optimization of our Kubernetes (AKS) environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide platform solutions that empower them.

About you

We’re looking for a passionate problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re a team player with strong communication skills, eager to make an impact and push boundaries.

We imagine you have the following qualifications and characteristics:

• 5+ years of experience in software development or platform engineering, with strong Azure, Azure Network Fundamentals and C# knowledge.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), IAM, and observability/monitoring tools.
• Experience with DevOps best practice and principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization/orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
• Understanding of Landing Zone Architecture.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
