We are strengthening our People & Organization team and are looking for a Senior People & Organization Business Partner who will partner as a trusted advisor and courageous advocate to senior leaders in Business Partners (corporate functions) in COWI.

In the role as Senior People & Organization Business Partner, you will work closely with the senior leaders in Group IT (one SVP), and Group and Business Finance functions (6 SVP’s) to enable good leadership, team engagement, people performance management and organizational governance, making a significant impact on our business outcomes. You will report to the Head of P&O for Business Partners and will be based in Lyngby, working together with the broader global P&O team in COWI's global locations. COWI is undergoing the largest transformation in our history which means that the role will evolve and provide opportunities for growth for the candidate with the right capabilities and mindset.

As Senior People & Organization Business Partner at COWI, you will be responsible for implementing our Group people agenda together with the senior leadership teams. You will also be a strategic sparring partner to the Senior Vice Presidents in Group IT and Finance, lending your ear and using your expert P&O insights to enable them in their leadership and facilitate drive required organisational changes as a trusted partner.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Work with leaders and be an effective partner in solving complex organisational challenges using your strategic P&O partnering experience and ability to bring broader perspectives into play, and drive organizational change initiatives and projects, ensuring strong implementation from a P&O perspective. Anchor leadership pipeline behaviours and promote solid leadership performance. Sparring and advising SVP’s on conflict resolution, engagement, team development and organisational design/structure. Promote, implement and ensure execution of annual people processes, including engagement process, people review, succession planning, talent management and performance management. Collaborate with P&O teams in relevant geographies and our Centres of Excellence such as Global Talent Acquisition, Global Rewards and Mobility and Global People Insights and Services for design and delivery of global initiatives. 25% of the Senior P&O BP role is committed to working on P&O development projects together with CoE’s. Be the point of contact to our P&O colleagues in Lithuania where Finance and Group IT have a high employee footprint, representing all Business Partner (corporate) functions, to ensure aligned delivery of people processes and partnering to senior leaders. On top of that, you:
Hold a master's degree in business, HR, leadership and organisation, or a related field. Have demonstrated experience in driving organisational change together with senior leaders. Have demonstrated experience delivering positive impact as a strategic HR/P&O Business Partner to senior leaders, as trusted advisor and courageous advocate. Have demonstrated experience in enabling good leadership, engagement, people performance and organisational governance, in a multinational context. Have a keen interest in understanding business operations and translating business needs into meaningful people and organisation advice and actions. Are able to work at a relatively high complexity level in a matrix organisation, and craft and implement simple, structured and high-quality solutions together with leaders. Work individually and collaboratively with high trust and mandate, which you use to move your priorities forward proactively, as part of a small and powerful team, and as part of a larger P&O network of functional expertise and colleagues in- and outside Denmark Are fluent in written and spoken English. Danish is not a requirement. The preferred start date for this role is as soon as possible.
