Let’s talk about the role
As our new IT Print Architect, you will contribute to all activities from technical concept definition to solution maintenance and operations regarding print management. You will be part of ensuring that our +70.000 colleagues worldwide have a great user experience with print.
We work in an agile set-up, where we share responsibility for the service, and you will be expected to collaborate and seek compromises with other senior architects across the teams, the Product Owner and other relevant IT areas such as IT Security on a continuous basis. Together with the Product Owner you will be responsible for setting direction, building roadmaps and provide guidance covering IT applications, platforms and data related to print.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Developing and designing the architecture and integrations for print services, including printers, print servers, related software systems and the required integrations to external systems
Creating and maintaining a technical roadmap for how the print services provided to Novo Nordisk users should be, and be the lead on the implementation of the technical initiatives that are prioritized for implementation
Working with a very varied landscape of stakeholders that either integrate with the provided print services or stakeholders that are responsible for infrastructure that the print services rely on to function properly, and ensuring a print environment which is set for the future, and is scalable
Having responsibility for transfer of information to service managers and colleagues in the global support-organisation
The skills we hope you have
The ideal candidate for this position should meet most of the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field along with more than 5 years of proven experience in print management, preferably in a large and complex environment
Strong technical knowledge of end-user device print configuration, printers, operating systems, and network
Knowledgeable in best practices and standards for print infrastructure management, such as print security protocols, print server management, configuration and print drivers (experience with uniFLOW, Windows Server, and Canon printers is an advantage)
Areas of understanding needed for this position: mobile printing, cloud printing, printer server administration, print file formats, print security
Experience working in an agile organization is an asset, not a requirement
