Do you want to have an integral part in taking the VestasOnline B2B customer platform for wind turbines owners and prospective customers to new heights then we are looking for you. We are expanding our product organisation around our customer self-service solutions with a new dedicated product team and you will play a key role in the establishment of the team and in setting the strategic product direction within how Vestas more efficiently can enable customers to easily find, download documents and content and ask questions about their Wind Turbines. The team will play a crucial role in supporting the Service organization to ensure an anticipated growth in Giga Watts and wind turbines under service and to enable our customers who require our support to operate their assets. The team will be designing and operating a Web UI on VestasOnline and be using latest AI & ML technologies to automate more customer inquiries and touchpoints and to timely provide valuable answers to our customers. In order to achieve Vestas' growth targets for the coming years a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally - is required. Digitalization is a key element of this shift in operation. The Digital Customer Channels & Experience department within Digital Solutions is responsible for building the digital customer channels including building products targeted to Vestas' customers as well as enabling other internal product teams across Vestas working on customer facing solutions. We are in the process of maturing our in-house led digital product teams who is responsible for designing, building, and continuously optimizing our digital products following a product-focused operating model. As our new Senior Product Manager for VestasOnline - Customer Power Plant Content & Knowledge sharing you will join a Product Department consisting of 2 Product Areas where Connected Channels currently consist of 4 product teams.

Responsibilities

Craft the product vision and strategy together with stakeholders across Service Commercial Management, Service Operations, Vestas R&D and Digital Solutions (DS)Build and continuously update the Product roadmap based on user insights and commercial strategy

Facilitate discovery activities with customers and stakeholders across Vestas to identify improvement areas or new product opportunities

Install a user centric, evidence guided and value focused mindset within the product team and among stakeholders and use this to guide the team when prioritizing for future opportunities to solve

Define EPICs, User stories and Sprint Goals incl. acceptance criteria together with Tech Lead based on qualitative and quantitative user data

Define quarterly Goals and Key Results (OKRs) together with your team based on dialogues with stakeholders, other product teams, Technical Area Lead and Product Leader

Work closely with other Product Teams to promote shared outcomes within the Customer channel, across a larger value stream or within a strategic program

Qualifications

+5 years' experience working as Product Owner or Digital Product Manager and experience from working with a high-code digital product

Alternatively you have +5 years' experience from working in a specialist role where you have integrated internal projects / roll-out of new digital solutions to customers within a B2B industry where customers are having industrial assets they need to operate

Proven history of successfully navigating a matrix organizational set-up as well as proven experience developing cross functional teams

Experience defining objectives and key results and using the OKR framework

Experience with setting direction for a software engineering team within design, delivery and optimize a digital product

Fluency in English in both oral and written - Danish is not a prerequisite

Bachelor's or Master's degree

Competencies

You think commercially when developing your digital product and how you motivate your team; i.e. focusing on who are you enabling with your product and what is the value proposition of your product to the users/teams and to Vestas

An effective communicator and storyteller who can articulate value to stakeholders on multiple levels in the organization

Can communicate effortlessly to stakeholders on different levels (i.e. business level, management level and technical level) and can toggle between attending to detail and steering company strategy

Basic technical understanding of data- and software engineering principles

Ability to engage and align multiple stakeholder viewpoints and combine into a well crafted product vision and roadmap

A great facilitator of cross-team workshops and discovery activities

Can set direction for your digital product but also deliver on your plans and achieve measurable results

Can motivate and involve your team members in different product decisions (you work as a team and succeed as a team)

As Senior digital Product Manager for VestasOnline - Team Customer Power Plant Content & Knowledge sharing you will set the product vision for the product team. We work with product-led disciplines such as digital product strategy, continuous insights gathering and run tech & design spikes to foster a learning mindset and to validate assumptions before we prioritize and ship user value. We work in a product trio setup where you will be collaborating closely with your Lead engineer and Product Designer to craft and continuously improve your digital product. You will become part of a growth area and join a great collaborative and diverse department.

Additional Information

The role will be based in Aarhus, Denmark. No relocation or sponsorship cost is available for this position.
