The Position

As a Finished Product (Assembly & Pack) Senior Professional, you’ll work alongside specialists to transfer processes to our CMO partners, who handle manufacturing, assembly, and packaging for Novo Nordisk.

You’ll play a key role in implementing new products and processes at CMO sites, building expertise in NN processes and products, and providing technical support to ensure smooth external production operations.

In this position, you will:

• Work closely to our team of specialists and professionals and internal stakeholders ensuring the implementation of a robust production process at our CMO partners.
• Gain extensive knowledge of the external production such as the manufacturing, inspection and most important the assembly and packaging operations including critical equipment & processes.
• Get insight into the production operations and drive solutions whenever production disturbances occur
• Have a strong interaction with Novo Nordisk Manufacturing development areas.
• Make procedural or process suggestions for achieving team goals; providing necessary competences and help to remove obstacles, ensuring the team accomplishes specific results.

The role focuses on CMO oversight from project phases to commercialization, involving broad international collaboration. You can expect 20-40 travel days per year, including trips to Europe and the US, to support our global activities.

You will become a part of an international, diverse and well-functioning team that enjoy solving problems in collaboration. Our main office is located in Søborg, Denmark.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we expect you to:

• Hold at least a bachelor’s degree within Pharmacy, Engineering, Automation, or other relevant fields.
• Have at least six years of practical experience within the pharmaceutical industry and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, preferably including assembly & packing operations.
• Have experience working in technology transfer projects, automation projects and/or life cycle management projects within pharmaceutical assembly/pack operations.
• Have a solid GMP knowledge based on hands on experience and Lean 6 Sigma or equivalent,
• Good knowledge of overall practices for drug product manufacturing, aseptic filling process, small molecule dry spraying & tableting, and general quality management systems, could be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
• It would be considered as an advantage if you have previously worked in an international environment.

About the Department

Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) Drug Product is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation. We are responsible for all Novo Nordisk contracts and license manufacturing of semi-finished and finished drug products to global markets. GCM monitors and controls the production handled by CMOs located in Central Europe, North America and in East Asia and ensures delivery of products from the CMOs to our respective customers. EMTO FP, bears the responsibility for the production facility including all equipment and the Quality Management System (QMS) at the CMOs throughout the TT project phase, and we work closely with our GCM Operations team.
